In full bloom, framed in red lacquer. This vintage Chinese box pairs a red case, painted with black scrolling motifs, with an inset porcelain panel of pink and white blossoms on a flowering branch. The inside is lined in black lacquer, with room for jewelry, keepsakes, or a few small mementos. A hand-painted treasure for a vanity, desk, or coffee table. Circa mid-20th century.
