A rare piece of Chinese Export artistry. This black lacquer sewing box is gilded with intricate chinoiserie scenes and dense floral borders, opening to reveal a fitted interior of lidded trays and a hidden drawer. Finished with brass ring handles, this early 19th-century treasure brings elegance to any room. Circa 1820–1850.

  • Materials: black lacquer, gilt chinoiserie decoration, brass fittings
