This mixed media collage was created in 2023 on a custom wood panel. Hundreds of hand cut fish are the primary resource used to depict this fish hunting raptor. Water color, colored pencil, vintage magazines and original Texas oil and gas field maps were also used to create this powerful image. This piece is part of the artist’s “birds of prey” series.
This is an archival print with deckled (torn) edges and the artist’s original signature.

Artist Bio
- Brenda Bogart is a Dallas artist renowned for her compelling and conversation-starting collage work and paintings of famous, historical figures from Lincoln to Einstein. A visit to her airy studio readily reveals her inspiration. It is filled with a fascinating collection of centuries old handwritten letters, colorful handmade papers from around the world, plus various eclectic objects she has collected during her travels.
