we are quite happy to have a new artist in the family. joyce howell’s abstract work is now ever-so-beautifully gracing our shop walls. based outside of austin, texas, she made an early morning trip and hand-delivered these large panels. the soft spoken artist {with super hip glasses we might add} says every stroke is painted with the intention to bring sensory memories to life. howell seeks “rhythm and contradiction” in her hues, texture and markings. how true — we think these newest pieces are nothing short of a symphony of colors. welcome to our little family, joyce!

we love seeing how creative souls work. one of our favorite artists, megan adams brooks, let our camera inside her studio for a look behind the scenes. her studio walls are dripping in tear sheets, inspirations and clippings. paints, gesso, trimmings and supplies fill her drafting tables and godiva, brooks’ chocolate lab, is by her side at every brushstroke. throughout her home, her furniture is upholstered with her very own fabric designs — now that’s what we call a personal touch! whether it be on canvas, silk or custom-printed textiles — patterns are her thing.
we are proud to show off her talents on our walls and, now, on our sofas. megan recently launched her own pillow collection with blue print. pillows range in sizes & colorways {custom options are also available}.

laissez les bon temps rouler {let the good times roll}. new orleans artist, mallory page, made her way from the big easy to the big D for today’s art show. collectors & customers got to meet and mingle with the artist — always a bonus to hear the inspiration behind these beautiful pieces from the artist herself. her serene works showered our walls with tranquil colorways. every single canvas was a compliment to our home (we mean shop!). we were so pleased to host mallory and every bit of her southern charm.
